Wednesday, August 17th, at 10:30 AM., Nintendo will hold a 60 minute
press conference, titled "Expand the Definition of Gaming". Check back

Obviously fakes, but nonetheless very beautiful pictures that claims to be from some sort of tech demo for Nintendo Revolution. They bear both the ATI and Retro Studios logo (the makers of the Metroid games), though not real they are beautiful pieces of Art.

In an interview with Nintendo's second-party cohorts Retro Studios for the first time details about Metroid Prime 3 for Nintendo Revolution is revealed. Nintendo previously confirmed the existence of Metroid Prime 3 by showing us a short trailer at its pre-E3 press conference. However this is the first time any solid details have emerged about the game.

Blind Teen Plays Video Games

Brice Mellen who has been blind since birth is a whiz at video games such as "Mortal Kombat." Those bold enough to challenge him weren't so lucky. One by one, while playing "Soul Caliber 2," their video characters were decapitated, eviscerated and gutted without mercy by Mellen's on-screen alter ego.

I can already see the bids on eBay shooting through the roof. The chair which is modeled after the original NES controller and made out of vinyl and high-density foam, was put together by a Nintendo fan with a 40$ budget and some impressive craftsman skills.

A recent study published in the journal Acta Psychologica suggest that people who play video games regularly may be able to scan their environment and spot the target of their search more quickly than non-gamers can. This could make the difference between, for example, crashing a car and averting an accident, according to the lead study author Dr. Alan Castel.

Retailers can report that Nintendo DS units have increased 86 percent over the weekly average. Still the humble GBA is outselling the DS with 237,000 units sold in May alone. With the combined sale of the DS and GBA Nintendo is still leading the handheld race against Sony and their PlayStation Portable.

Iwata hints at Revolution launch date

In a recent shareholder's meeting, president of Nintendo Satoru Iwata was asked for the outlook on when Nintendo's next generation Revolution console would be scheduled for launch. His response indicates that the console will be the last next-gen machine to hit the market.
