In an interview with Nintendo's second-party cohorts Retro Studios for the first time details about Metroid Prime 3 for Nintendo Revolution is revealed. Nintendo previously confirmed the existence of Metroid Prime 3 by showing us a short trailer at its pre-E3 press conference. However this is the first time any solid details have emerged about the game.
The game will still be played in first-person viewpoint, and taking full advantage of the new system as well as the controversial Revolution controller and its so far unknown special abilities. The plot is about bringing closure to the story against the backdrop of an epic struggle," the Retro Studios spokesperson said. The planet Phazon still playes a key role and the game will include both old and new enemies.
On the audio/visual side of things Retro promises highly detailed graphics running silk smooth, and the composer Kenji Yamamoto will take the music into some new directions for this title. That is about all we know for know but we will report back on Metroid Prime 3 as soon as we know more.
